Belly Full of International Wisdom

Want to learn the different dishes from a variety of cultures?

Throw a PARTY!

And make it a potluck.

To celebrate your accomplishments, the completion of your enriching research of the country of your ancestors, and to showcase your brilliant projects (cultural dolls, heritage collage, family and personal timelines), invite your parents for a potluck lunch (or tea time).

Ask them to bring a  dish from their country of origin and ask them to throw a blurb about it.  (Yeah, let them do the work this time.)  Better still,  YOU shop with them when they buy the ingredients.  They may bring you to an INTERESTING ethnic store.  Then, learn how to cook that dish.

To further impress them, perform a cultural dance (I’ll explain it in my next blog).

Show off and perform.
